NINE-WEEK SESSIONS

For those of you local enough to have a short drive, here is an opportunity to learn and develop your woodcarving skills on a weekly basis. We follow the Bare Bones format at a casual weekly pace. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn carving with the help of a skilled professional carver. The class runs from 7:00 – 9:00pm on Tuesday evenings.

Over the course of nine weeks you will build up a solid foundation in woodcarving fundamentals: hand technique, sharpening, visual mapping, and design. The relaxed weekly format gives your hands time to practice and build muscle memory between sessions. This class is ideal for local residents on the Greater Gloucester / Cape Ann / North Shore who prefer a slower, more relaxed learning pace.
