Hand-Carved Board of Trustee Panel Shown in Process.

Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut came to us with a project. They wanted a Board of Trustee panel for above a fireplace in a prominent room. They also wanted a founder's statement carved across the top of the panel. I am showing this project in process so that you can see one of the stages of custom production. Here with a layout we are trying to get the lettering to scale and proportion for the finish product. The plaque was stained to match the wains coating in the room and many years later I have since updated the plaque with more names.
